The Far Cry game series is one of the best-selling games for PCs, entering its third iteration in 2004. It has been praised for its non-linear gameplay and open world environment. If you’re thinking about playing it on your Mac or PC, we’re here to give you some tips on how to organize a great pixel 3xl far cry 4 image shooter game.
First we recommend getting the latest graphics drivers installed (especially if you’re playing on a laptop). Then make sure your video card drivers are up to date as well as any critical software like Adobe Photoshop and/or Microsoft Office apps that use OpenGL or DirectX.
1. Play the game on the lowest difficulty setting
It’s not that we don’t think you’re brave enough to play it on a higher setting, or have the skill level necessary to defeat the game itself (wink, wink). It’s just that it’s a lot more fun if you start off with a low difficulty setting. OK, so maybe you won’t get as many points but then again if you’re more interested in completing the story mode than getting all of your hit markers and combo explosions out of the way first, then maybe easy mode is for you.
2. Pick a platform and stick to it
We recommend picking one platform to play this game on and sticking with it for a while before moving on to another system. Why? Because not only will you be able to get the most awesome graphics out of your system, but you’ll also have the opportunity to fully complete one version before moving on. If you play on different systems, it’s harder to keep track of what version is where and how many objectives you’re missing from each mission. That’s why we say pick a platform and stick with it.
3. Download the Official Strategy Guide
There are a lot of good walkthroughs and mini-guides that can help you get through the story missions in the game, but if you really want to know what order everything happens in, and how to get all of those pesky extra side quests done, then check out this Official Strategy Guide . It will tell you everything, from a walkthrough of the missions to objective lists, weapon lists, and even the best vehicles to use during those long rainy drives from point A to point B.
4. Have a buddy along for the ride
It’s not that you won’t make it through the game on your own. It just means you’ll have missed out on some of the best parts of the game by yourself. It’s always easier to tackle things if you have someone to play with (especially since you’ll have twice as many guns and twice as much ammo). So if you’re planning on playing co-op mode, be sure that all of your players have a decent connection. We’d recommend playing over LAN instead of on a dial-up connection.
