Fitness bloggers. They share their experiences in the beauty and torture of everyday life to inspire or help others. They write about how exercise leads to a better body, how their workouts have changed, how they crave watermelon, and so much more. However, most of them are personal trainers or therapists attempting to spread good health in order to recruit more followers and/or customers.

In other words, the fitness blogging industry is a business. They need to make money to survive, so they promote themselves like crazy. This is a form of advertising and it’s also a form of shameless self-promotion. These bloggers create products, write reviews on them, and share their experiences with others. And they do all this while being in possession of affiliate links or links to products that they have purchased and/or not paid for (via free trials) from specific companies.

It’s unethical. While most people know that the beauty industry is ruthless when it comes to using non-natural and non-organic ingredients, many are unaware that the fitness industry is just as bad. 24 hour fitness seattle is just one of many companies that pays bloggers to promote and share their products.
