What are the best show times to watch a movie in bozeman cinemas?

Bozeman is a bustling, lively town. But there’s one thing it doesn’t have: enough movie theaters.

The Gallatin Valley Mall Cinema, Cinemark Tinseltown USA, and the Bozeman Film Festival are the three major venues for watching films with friends or on your own.

There are also two smaller theater-type spaces in town: The Rocker Theatre and Zootown Arts Village Theatre.

Unfortunately, none of these theaters play a complete schedule of films throughout the year; they only show a few movies at a time, so you’ll have to check their websites or call before going out if you want to know what’s playing that day.

The Gallatin Valley Mall Cinema

The GVMC is the largest of Bozeman’s three theaters, with 16 screens and more than 1,300 seats. The theater was built in 2001 and is operated by Northwest Entertainment, which also runs the Living Room Cinema in Butte.

The mall has a fun atmosphere and hosts special events with the help of the Bozeman Downtown Association.

They also sell tickets to concerts and other events at local venues so you can save time by grabbing tickets at the same time you buy your movie ticket.

Here are some points discussed about the best show times to watch movie showtimes bozeman mt

1. Avoid rush hour if possible.

The theater is always busy at night, but you can avoid getting stuck in long lines if you come on a non-peak time.

The best show times for this would be earlier in the evening, or on weekends when school is out of session. Weekday evenings are also good, although the theater is usually pretty packed on weekends too.

2. See movies before they’re officially released.

The GVMC sells tickets to advance screenings of films that are still months away from being shown anywhere else in Bozeman.

They often do this for special events like the pre opening of Harry Potter or Twilight films, which are guaranteed to sell out early.

3. Only buy tickets for movies you really want to see.

If there’s a film that hasn’t been released yet, it may be worth waiting for one of the advance screenings to see the film.

I’ve heard rumors that certain films are available at two or three different theaters around town, so be sure to check the individual websites before buying tickets to see if there’s a screening close enough to where you live.

Bozeman Film Festival

The Bozeman Film Festival is an annual festival of local and international films held at the GVMC in June or July each year.

The event includes shorts, documentaries, and features running about 30 minutes each.

4. Don’t skip the opening and closing ceremonies.

There’s a short ceremony before each screening, and it’s always fun to see the filmmakers and cast members talk about their films and the festival itself.

Having a lot of people in one place really brings life to the whole thing, which is why it works so well with the GVMC.

5. Check out other theaters.

The Bozeman Film Festival is only one part of what’s going on in town during its time there; all three of these venues also show non-festival films throughout the year as well.

So you can check out other theaters if you need to see a film that’s not represented at the festival.

6. Keep in mind that other theaters may play other types of films.

The GVMC only shows first-run films, while the other two venues show other types of films as well, especially during the summer when they host free movies in their outdoor spaces for anyone to attend.

The Zootown Arts Village Theatre also shows foreign films, which are generally more popular than domestic movies. So be sure to check their individual website or call before heading out to see if they have something unusual on display.

7. Watch at home with your movie theater experience.

The GVMC has a “home theater experience” that lets you watch movies at home on your own TV, just like you would at the theater.

Initially, the cost was $3 per movie, but Northwest Entertainment has since gone up to $4.95 with the added benefit of receiving a free digital download of the film after you’ve seen it.

So if you really want to avoid lines and crowds, if you want to enjoy good customer service with super seats, and if you want to save money by watching your favorite films at home on the big screen, then tickets for showing at The Bozeman Film Festival are clearly worth it! These special screenings are definitely worth checking out.
