Try this test to see what happens when you consume THC: put on a pair of sunglasses and smoke some weed. If you have consumed cannabis recently, it will most likely make you feel intense pain in one eye – that’s due to THC binding to cannabinoid type 1 receptors in the eye. In contrast, CBD binds to different receptors in the brain and body and does not have psychoactive effects.

CBD isolate is the purest form of CBD available. It is extracted from hemp or marijuana using CO2 (fractional distillation) or ethanol to create a crystalline powder that contains the cannabinoid molecules in their raw and purest form.
