If you’re like me, you probably don’t have a lot of luck when it comes to finding an aesthetic dress that is both comfortable and cute. I’m not sure why this is the case, but I’ve learned to accept it. But after a recent shopping experience with my family, I learned something very important about this clothing line that changed my life for lunge deficit – and could very well change yours too.
Below are some of the most common thoughts people have just before they learn about how these dresses are made.
1. “These dresses are too expensive for me.”
This was the thought that went through my mind before I learned about production costs. Aesthetic clothing can be found at almost every mall in America, and it is a popular clothing choice for people in middle school and above. However, none of these stores sell the dresses below full price. During Hot Topic’s “50% off Clearance Weekend,” I could have purchased any of these dresses for $23.75 each – well below the regular retail prices listed on the website! However, most of the time they will be sold at 30% off or more. If you really look around, you can find a deal that fits your budget!
2. “I look like a hot mess when I wear these dresses.”
Well, this shouldn’t come as a surprise. Just like any other clothing item, the price of these dresses are based on their quality. More expensive dresses can be found in stores such as Modcloth and Zara. However, Aesthetic Apparel don’t make these high-end designs – which means that they are probably not so high quality either! Below is a picture from a dress purchased from Hot Topic that is similar to some you might find on Aesthetic Apparel’s website.
3. “These dresses are really heavy!”
People like to complain about these dresses being heavy because they think it makes them seem tough or experienced. The fact of the matter is that all of these designer dresses weigh about the same: between 1.2 and 3 pounds (0.5-1.4 kg). I’d say the heaviest dress weighed 2 pounds (0.91 kg), which is lighter than a regular t-shirt! These dresses can be easily folded in half and carried around in purses or backpacks – so don’t let the weight scare you away!
4.”I look like a baby doll when I wear these. I just look too young!”
Aesthetic Apparel is known for their baby doll dresses. From the front, they do make you look like a young child. But from the back, these dresses look like regular fashion clothing or even a wedding dress! This gives them an air of maturity without looking childish or ridiculous.
5.” These dresses don’t have any pockets!”
If you’re worried about not having pockets when wearing these dresses, then you haven’t looked around. Aesthetic Apparel makes different designs that include pockets – some of which can be seen in the photo above. These dresses are designed to be loose (not form-fitting) and using proper accessories makes them look just as dressy as any normal outfit!
6. “These dresses are just too short!”
This is a common concern that people have. Yes, these dresses do look like full-length baby dolls from the front, but from the rear the dresses are usually between mid calf and knee length. This gives you enough coverage without having to wear shorts underneath!
7. “These dresses aren’t very girlie.”
This particular misconception is probably due to a lack of knowledge about fashion trends or even historical clothing styles. That’s why I think these dresses are so popular among people of all ages. They can be easily accessorized and they can be worn in almost any weather. 9. “These dresses are too wild for me.”
There are many different styles of these baby doll dresses, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t any conservative designs! I can’t count the number of times that I’ve heard this comment! But just like with most other clothing styles, these dresses are quite popular among many different types of people. It’s true that you might not see your friends or family wearing these outfits, but I guarantee that you have one stylish friend or family member who does!
