What is lisportsshots?
Lisportsshots is a website where you can find video and pictures of people doing Lisburn-based brand and commercial jingles for free. It was made by a group of students who wanted to help advertise the city that they’re from.
It’s a website that you have to register on in order to post your own videos or pictures, but it’s also something that anyone can view just as they would any other search engine within the browser. This guide has been created with those registered users in mind to show them how they can make their content more successful, as well as provide helpful hints and tips for new users coming into the site.
How to use the website?
When you first arrive, you will be redirected to the login page. Here, you will first have to register with a username (which is completely optional) and a password. When you have done this, click on “REGISTER” in the top right-hand corner.
On the next page, you will have to select whether or not you want to post photos and videos (you can switch between them). Once you have done this, click on “LOGIN” at the bottom left-hand side of the screen. Go ahead and sign up now so that we can get moving straight away! How does the website work?
Everything is based on rooms. In the Video room, you can find two different types of videos: The ones with a remote control icon next to them, and the ones with a film reel icon next to them. The remotes are popular video jingles done by people in the lisportsshots community. The film reels are your own posts. When you click on one of these icons, a new screen will open up which has information about that video in it including an overview, play button and an exit button back to the ‘Video’ room at lounge .

Content can also be easily shared to social media sites like Facebook and Twitter, which means that you can quickly expand your audience. Another benefit is that you will never be charged anything for uploading or viewing videos. This can help if you’re particularly strapped for cash.
