Before reading this article, I did not know much about bill had who ran against Hilary Clinton for presidency in 2020. I thought it would be interesting to read about his character and how he could have lost such a big election against Clinton when she seemed to be quite lacklustre. Just listening to people talk about it made me realize that Bill talked too much and mentioned things that he should not have mentioned. Then I asked myself if Bill really did not have sexual relations with Monica Lewinsky. I think that the reason why Bill had so many girlfriends was not because he was bad-looking or anything, but was because he told people that he has lots of money and it seems like a good way to win over girls.

How did the story make me feel?

I felt sad for Toni Had since she had been cheated on by her husband with many women, even though they were married. I thought it was too bad but she could have just left him since he seemed quite wealthy already and had no need to cheat on his wife anymore. But she chose to stay with him even after all the cheating happened, probably because she believed in true love or because she loved him a lot. I was jealous of Toni Had because she seemed to have more love than me. I also felt bad for Bill Had and his family since they would probably be sad that he could not run for president.

How can this story be applied to my life?

Ever since seeing this article, I have been thinking about the kind of people who may succeed in life, who are rich and popular but are not truly good people. It is probably good to know (at least once) that someone who is quite popular and has a lot of money might have been cheating on their wife. Now I think that I will not be so envious of people with lots of money because it is probably due to something bad.

It is weird for a person who has very little education and does not even know how to read properly to have become president. It must have been because someone wanted him to be president by giving him money or something else in return. It was pretty scary, but the U.S actually had someone like that as their president before. Also, when Bill Had said ‘I did not have sex with that woman,’ Hilary Clinton said ‘It depends upon what the meaning of the word is. If the meaning of the word is, “I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Monica Lewinsky” then, yes, I agree with you.’ I realized that people can use their intelligence in a bad way to achieve their goals.

How does this story relate to my own life?

It made me realize that even smart people can be evil and do things for a selfish reason. It made me think about the importance of choosing a person who is good and kind. If someone wants to be president or some other important job, they should choose someone who has good qualities instead of someone who does not have so-called ‘good qualities’ but has lots of money or something else in exchange.
