If you’re tired of hearing about how you could be doing more to grow your business, but don’t want to do anything about it, listen up. You may not realize it, but there are dozens of simple things you could be doing right now that will drastically improve your business results.

“Business Results” is the term we use to describe the reason people buy from you and business analyst salary chicago for better results. These reasons may vary depending on the industry and customer, but in general these are the top drivers of business growth.

To illustrate this point, think about what would happen if your website crashed during one of your busiest hours. How would you react? If you’re anything like me, then you probably instantly get angry and throw a hissy fit on Facebook.

How can you get more businesses?

1. Don’t just sit there!

The first of five things you should be doing to improve your business is not just sitting there. What am I talking about? You guessed it. You should be getting up, taking action, and getting more business. If your website is down during one of the busiest times in your business’s day, then you need to stop blaming everyone else and take control of your own destiny.

If there’s one thing common to all businesses, it’s that they will have downturns in their business results…yep – no matter what industry or type of service you’re in.

2. Add value to your marketing

The second thing you can be doing is adding value and building trust. The faster you build trust and add value, the more business you will get. When I say value, I’m not talking about trying to make it so that anyone who comes on your website has to sit through a video or a 30 minute sales pitch just to get on your contact list. Here are some ways you can add value and build trust:

If you’re a service business, share samples of your work on a blog.

If you sell something, provide some free information to give people an idea of what it will do for them. If they like what they see then they will listen to your sales pitch.

If you sell something, give away some samples or a discount on the first order to build trust.

3. Get donations! (is this even legal?)

The third thing you should be doing is getting donations! Not really donations in the sense that we usually think of, but getting them donating their time or their money both count towards building trust and adding value.

Don’t worry, you don’t have to pitch your customer on giving you money, but there are a few ways you can get them to contribute something.

-First, offer something of value to a person and ask them to pay whatever they think it’s worth. No one will ever pay more than they feel the product is worth.

-Second, if you’re selling something and the customer is asking too many questions, offer him multiple ways to get in touch with you and only respond once he has paid for your service or product. You will be surprised how many customers won’t reply because they don’t want to spend the money!

4. Create content for your blog

The fourth opportunity you have to grow your business is by creating content for your blog. All bloggers are in the same boat and that’s the struggle of trying to get people to read what they write. However, I can assure you that if you did the work on your blog, it would pay dividends in getting more traffic and customers because people will feel better knowing you have a proven track record or record of results. Here are some things you can do:

-Write blogs every day or as often as possible.

-Write other forms of content such as eBooks, videos, or articles while conducting a series of interviews with other experts in your field who have proven track records of success.

-USE social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter to get your blog posted on their sites. This is something I’m doing with most of my blog posts, but you don’t have to do this if you don’t want to.

5. Get more traffic

The fifth thing you should be doing is getting more traffic. When it comes to getting more traffic, there are two solutions: Hire a marketing company or do it yourself (DYI). There is a benefit to both of these, but I would recommend approaching it like a business.

If you want all the bells and whistles of a marketing company then that’s fine and dandy. If you use a marketing company, they will get clients through paid advertising and earn commissions based on the sales they generate.

Conclusion:

If you’re not doing any of these things, then take a step back and try to find a way to add value to your customer’s experience. The more value you can add, the more of it you can get and the more your business results will grow.
